Rutledge Financial Partners is a financial firm committed to helping people create solutions for retirement. CCG partnered with Wealth Manager Kamila McDonnough to design a 27-page booklet to help entrepreneurs navigate the pre-planning and startup phases of their business. The booklet contained 50 questions and the challenge presented by the client was to take such text-heavy content and present it in a way that was visually appealing without being too overstated. The design needed to do just enough to keep the reader engaged, yet focused on the important topic at hand.

 

To do this, we alternated between 3-4 standard page layouts — some with photos and some without. We used color blocks to spotlight inspirational quotes and even designed standout chapter cover pages that featured a subtle, yet supportive, question mark motif in the background.
